This company and others preferred to build these limousines from scratch, rather than convert them from already made cars; these vehicles were always meant to be longer than normal cars, in order to carry more people. Later, Armbruster was merged with a company called "Stageway Cars". The new company begun to convert Cadillacs and Lincoln cars in long limousines, designated mainly for funerals.
